Types of Weaving

Twilled Dutch Weaves

Twilled dutch weaves are produced by interweaving of few, thick warp wires with thin weft wires in much higher number.

Twilled dutch weave as the finest filter medium

Twilled dutch weaves are produced by interweaving of few, thick warp wires with thin weft wires in much higher number. Based on the twilled weave pattern, lightproof meshes are created. The spread ranges from wire meshes having 1 µm nominal opening up to meshes having a 250 µm opening.

Robust metal wire meshes due to high material density

Due to their high material density, they are extremely robust in relation to their fineness and thus best suited for use involving highly intensive loads in the broadest range of filtration tasks and devices. Typical designs are, for example, nutsch-type filters, precoat filter systems of the widest variety of construction types and various systems with cartridge filters.

Excellent availability for standard materials

Complex manufacturing leads to corresponding long production times. As a consequence, Boegger holds twilled dutch weaves in stock in order to guarantee the maximum availability possible for our customers. These stock productions are carried out on the basis of standard materials AISI 304L/316L or DIN 1.4306/1.4404. Upon request, customer-individual productions are made in special materials like nickel, hastelloy, etc.
